Two new Sales experts join the team at Evolved Search

You may recall, towards the end of 2019 we announced some pretty big plans for the coming years. To help us on our way to hitting our ambitious and exciting growth targets, we need the best people leading our Business Development efforts.

Enter our two new Senior Sales Consultants, Chris Yorke and Jordan Frazer.

Chris and Jordan have joined at a crucial time and are tasked with growing the client base across our areas of expertise, specifically Automotive, Finance, and eCommerce. Each boasts extensive Enterprise-level expertise and we can’t wait to see them excel in their roles.

Expansion in the Sales team at Evolved Search

Jordan has gone from “corporate to cool” (his words – read the post!), coming from a corporate software background at Lightwell, a brand of global I.T conglomerate, IBM. He’s picked up a couple of IBM-accredited certifications along the way and is adept in solution-based selling and account management, to name but a few of his skills.

Upon joining the Evolved Search team, Jordan told us: “I wanted to work for a young, expert, growing company where I could really make an impact. Working for great people with a sense of humour was important to me and I clicked with Evolved Search’s MD, Ian, right away during the interview stages.

“The company is going through massive growth right now and everything I heard about the culture was fantastic (and now I know, true!), so I’m delighted to join the team and to help transform the way we sell, which is really exciting to me.”

Fellow consultant, Chris Yorke, comes to Evolved with 13 years’ experience at Sage Pay, one of Europe’s leading independent payment service providers, in a variety of roles across the customer lifecycle, including customer development, commercial management, and strategic partnerships.

Chris is an associate member of the CIM and has a strong knowledge of digital marketing.

Chatting about his decision to take a new direction after over a decade in a plc, Chris said: “I was ready for a refreshing change and a new challenge, and Evolved ticked all of my boxes.

“The role presented a fantastic opportunity to become part of an impressive and talented team with a great reputation in the world of SEO, so I’m thrilled to be a part of an agency with a bright and exciting future.”

Our MD, Ian McIntosh, spoke of the two new recent hires, saying: “As stated publicly in late 2019, we’ve got some pretty lofty goals and objectives ahead of us.

“It’s an exciting time, but we needed experienced sales professionals to hit the ground running and help make these aims happen, so I’m delighted Chris and Jordan have joined us to do just that!”

Three of our team secure promotions

We’ve also promoted three super-talented members of the team this month, following a successful 2019 in which they’ve exceeded expectations and delivered fantastic results.

Bekki Ramsay, Lauren Green and Lucy Dodds have all taken a step up on the career ladder

Bekki has been promoted to Digital PR Manager and over in the Content Marketing team, Lauren and Lucy are now Content Marketing Managers. Each will continue to play key roles in client accounts and help other team members to learn and progress on the job.

After dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s of our 3 promotions, Operations Director, Tom Etherington said: “It’s great to see even more people in the business doing so well and being rewarded with promotions. Our progression framework is designed to help team members grow and it’s fantastic to see that happen.

“Bekki, Lauren, and Lucy have all worked really hard to get to this point and I look forward to seeing what they achieve in their new roles.”

We wish the best of luck to Chris, Jordan, Bekki, Lauren, and Lucy in their new positions. Onwards and upwards!
