Important Notice: Scam Impersonating Evolved Search and UpShift

We have recently identified a fraudulent scheme in which unauthorised individuals are misusing the Evolved Search and UpShift names, branding, and publicly available company information to create the impression of a legitimate job opportunity. This activity is not connected to Evolved Search or UpShift in any way.

The scam involves unsolicited messages—primarily via WhatsApp—offering “task-based” or crypto-related work. These communications direct people to websites that copy elements of our branding and falsely claim to be official UpShift platforms. These sites are not operated by Evolved Search, and we have no involvement in these activities.

We have reported the impersonation to the relevant authorities and are working with service providers to have the fraudulent websites and accounts removed. We are also taking steps across our channels to help ensure people can identify genuine opportunities with us.

As a reminder, all legitimate Evolved Search roles are listed only on our official website and through trusted recruitment partners. We do not recruit via WhatsApp or other messaging apps, and we do not offer task-based or crypto-related job programmes.

If you encounter any suspicious communication claiming to represent Evolved Search or UpShift, please avoid engaging and ensure any job information comes from verified sources.
