Evolved Search wins Best Search Campaign at the Northern eCommerce Awards

Oh yes, folks, it’s another win in the bag for our campaign with Tap Warehouse, as last week we picked up the Best Search/Marketing Campaign award at the Northern eCommerce Awards 2020. That’s right, the Best Search Marketing campaign in the whole of the North!

Our creative approach to maximising the Search performance of Tap Warehouse has beaten off competition from brands like Dreams and The INKEY List to nab the accolade, with judges stating that the creativity of our campaign was “excellent” and had “a clear focus and impressive results”.

It’s the second award this year for our work with Tap Warehouse after we picked up the Best B2C Campaign at the recent European Search Awards, and we’re delighted to have added our first-ever Northern eCommerce Award to the trophy shelf for this results-smashing work.

The campaign has enjoyed many a highlight, along with its fair share of grim discoveries in the form of content marketing, such as the weird bathroom habits of Brits and some pretty gross gym habits, too. Our content and digital PR work have seen the brand pick up coverage in the likes of Metro, Yahoo, The Mirror and many more, growing their brand visibility and crucially, their bottom line. Equally, a laser-focused approach to technical optimisation has helped to rectify a plethora of technical issues and restore KPIs as quickly as possible.

We’ve helped them achieve their biggest revenue-generating months and the campaign continues to go from strength-to-strength. Not bad for a brand that had experienced a worrying downturn in organic traffic and revenue prior to working with Evolved Search. There’s more information on the campaign over in our case study.

This win at the Northern eCommerce Awards celebrates the hard work and creativity of our team and the great, collaborative relationship we have with the client. It’s a pleasure to work with the team at Beyond Retail (the parent company of Tap Warehouse and Drench) and we’re hoping for a few spots on the shortlist of the UK Search Awards when it’s announced in a couple of weeks.
