Ellie Morgan wins EU Search Awards Rising Star

By Evolved • 6 June 2023 • 3 minutes reading time

Congratulations are – once again! – in order for Ellie Morgan, our Digital PR Strategist, as she picked up the prestigious Rising Star Award at the European Search Awards in Lisbon.

This is now her third win in the last 6 months, after picking up the same award at both the UK Search Awards 2022 and Northern Digital Awards 2023. Needless to say (but we will anyway) we’re incredibly proud of Ellie and her achievements.

The Rising Star category is chosen by the esteemed judging panel and celebrates emerging young talent doing exceptional things within their field.  Ellie is no stranger to industry recognition, after making a name for herself within the Digital PR community thanks to outstanding campaign work, as well as speaking at the London SEO meet-up and appearing on the PR People podcast recently.

At just 22 years old, Ellie has shown outstanding commitment to her client campaigns and professional development, as well as actively taking the lead on knowledge sharing within the industry.

She has also recently taken a step into a new role, as our first Digital PR Strategist, which will see her focus on new and existing client Digital PR strategies, taking ownership of how we deliver our services and the results we get for clients.

Tom Etherington, Managing Director at Evolved, spoke of Ellie’s latest win, saying: “I’m sure I speak for everyone at Evolved when I say how proud and pleased we are for Ellie on her big win at the European Search Awards.  Ellie’s career achievements have been substantial within a relatively short period of time, and I have no doubt she’ll continue to excel. Well done, Ellie!”

Here’s what some of the Judges said about Ellie:

Ellie has an unerring willingness to push herself, strive for excellence, and learn and develop new skills. She builds strong relationships with her clients and can always be found going that extra mile when it comes to servicing clients and hitting KPIs. Ellie’s recent campaigns, such as the one for MoneySuperMarket, show her creativity and ability to earn high-quality links in key publications.

Excellent – well done. The supporting info is super useful too. I liked the ‘some very challenging clients’ note too!

Ellie looks like a great and passionate Digital PR person. Running campaigns for large clients is one thing. But training other colleagues and contributing to the industry with her Twitter account for journo requests and speaking at conferences is just fantastic. Keep up the good work Ellie!
