We’re honoured and thrilled to bits that we picked up the only Search-related award at last week’s UK eCommerce Awards, achieving more recognition for our work with Mattress Online, which recently won the Best B2C campaign at the UK Search Awards.
The annual awards celebrate the best in the eCommerce business, with brands like Three, Matalan, Master of Malt, and Tate Galleries picking up a highly-coveted trophy at the glittering awards bash.
Our entry, “Helping Mattress Online to bounce back”, is our campaign that helped the brand in recovering from a link-based penalty. Mattress had lost 75% of their organic visibility off the back of this and revenue was hit hard, so a robust strategy was needed to start the process of reversing the damage.
Whilst, obviously, obtaining a penalty of any kind is a dire thing to happen for any business, our proactive approach proves that robust technical foundations, coupled with a creative approach to content marketing can help to set things right in the eyes of the search engines.
