About the Role

Reporting into the Head of Paid Marketing, you will be responsible for the planning and management of all Paid Social channels and campaigns for clients. You will eventually manage and build a sub-team within the department and be responsible for overseeing your own direct reports.

Key focuses within your role will be delivering outstanding results to clients, developing our Paid Social offering as an agency, and supporting the Client Services and Sales teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Responsible for ensuring the delivery of outstanding work within timescales for key client campaigns, both for yourself and your direct reports.
  • Provide an advanced level of Paid Social support, with a thorough understanding of the latest best practices, concepts, and terminology.
  • Act as a senior contact for all clients investing in Paid Social and represent the department at key strategic meetings and reviews.
  • Support the Client Services and Sales team by contributing to collateral and attending meetings to increase the agency’s retainers.
  • Development and documentation of strategic processes and initiatives for the department and agency with direction from the Head of Paid Marketing.
  • Work proactively with the Head of Client Services & Account Managers to ensure that capacity planning is in line with client account plans.
  • Set targets and OKRs for your department, in line with the overall strategy established by the SLT, and review to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Keep up-to-date on wider industry developments and support the Head of Paid Marketing in providing innovative solutions to aid departmental and agency progression.

What we're looking for

Desired skills and attributes:

  • Experience working in Paid Social, ideally at an agency.
  • Experience across networks like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and Snapchat (plus others!)
  • Proven experience executing social media campaigns, measuring results, and making tactical changes to enhance results.
  • Experience overseeing the commercial performance for Paid Media social activity and maximising ROI.
  • Experience in reporting directly to clients at a senior level.
  • Experience managing and growing a team.
  • Confident in managing a diverse workload and deadlines.
  • Innovative and able to identify new opportunities for growth within the department.
  • Enthusiastic, willing to learn, and open to sharing ideas with clients and colleagues.
